Opole 2015: Offensive comments on social media

Brief description:            

In February 2015, a person with the nickname "Grzegorz" posted a hate comment on the social media platform of the Nowa Trybuna Opolska newspaper (https://not.pl). The hate message addressing a German-speaking football school stated:

“Pathetic village, shame on all of Poland, everyone mocks us, of you German traitors, you feel German, then away to Germany."

Alarmed about the case, SKGD informed the public prosecutor‘s office about the offence. On 14.12.2015, an investigation was initiated into the case. The accused was sentenced to a fine of 150 daily rates of 10 zlotys each.
