Brief description:

Hateful messages to Catala-speaking content creators online are routine, and this is one of the many examples: a girl explained on her TikTok platform why she makes her videos in Catalan, and she received various hateful comments, like:

 "Only a clown can believe Catalan is a language rather than a dialect";

 "Catalonia has never been a country and never will be. And you as a SPANIARD have the right and the DUTY to speak CASTILIAN";

 "Your language is Castilian, cutie. You speak the Catalan dialect, which I don't mind, but it comes from Castilian";

 "Your native language is not Catalan but Spanish because you were born in Spain";

 "Your language is Castilian";

 "Latin, Aramaic, Ancient Greek, Etruscan, and so many other languages all disappeared and without so much drama. You are a pain in the ass! Integration is love"; or

 "Look at your ID, let's see what it says, Spanish or Catalan nationality?"
