Brief description:

In 2018, Javier Lambán, a member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) and President of the Government of Aragon 2015, wrote a tweet against the Catalan language:

“I begin the latest novel by Eduardo Mendoza, who writes in Spanish like most great Catalan authors."

In 2019, Alejandro Fernández, leader of the People's Party of Catalonia, wrote a hateful tweet saying:

"Faced with the separatist pretension that non-nationalists should leave Catalonia, any Spanish government should seriously encourage internal mobility so that Catalonia can once again become the preferred destination for all Spaniards."
