Brief description:                            

On 26 August 2022, a 16-year-old youth belonging to the Turkish community in Western Thrace was attacked by a group of about 20 young people. The 16-year-old Turkish youth was so severely beaten up by the group that he needed to be hospitalized.

 Reportedly, the assailants hit the Turkish youth at the same time by shouting ‘‘Dirty Turk, next time we will kill you’’ and cursed him. The Turkish youth, who had suffered many injuries on his body, was taken to the State Hospital of Xanhti by his mother after the attack and discharged after treatment.
